Japanese lore suggests people were tending orchids up to four thousand years ago. With such an impressive history passed down through generations of growers, it’s no wonder why orchids appear so perfect. Our white phalaenopsis reaches noble heights, its tall stalk laden with silky white orchid flowers in bud and bloom. All dressed up to deliver a jolly dose of Christmas cheer, it arrives in our festive “Joy” cachepot with a textured design painted red, white, and green.

Place the orchid where it will receive low, indirect light. It will do best with temperatures between 59 to 79 degrees. Keep orchid slightly moist, the roots should never be dry. Take orchid out of basket or cachepot to water and drain. These plants like humidity between 40 -50%. Misting will help increase humidity. Fertilize once a month with a balanced orchid food at ½ strength. Do not fertilize while flowering.
