Rich golden hues and gorgeous blooms are sure to enliven every special occasion…from Thanksgiving and special occasions. Bursting with the splendor of bright yellow-orange sunflowers and sunshiny yarrow, the bouquet also features ravishing Red roses, cheery red hypericum berries, and still more roses. You may also keep the stems longer for a more spaced bouquet look (see photos).
- Stem count: 16
- Vase: square glass; 5″ high
- Bouquet in a vase: approximately 10″ high
For the best results with your tabletop bouquet, follow these steps: Step 1: Start by preparing the sunflowers. Trim the stems as needed, up to 8 inches, ensuring that the sunflower heads sit about 1 inch above the lip of the vase. This is important because sunflowers are heavy and need support. Step 2: Next, prepare the roses. If necessary, remove the guard petals (the outer layer that protects the roses during shipping). Trim the rose stems at an angle, making sure the flowers sit about ½ inch above the sunflowers. You can always trim more if the roses appear too tall, take your time adjusting them for a balanced look. Step 3: Finally, place the berries and yellow yarrow between the roses and sunflowers, filling in any gaps where your eye sees fit for a visually appealing and balanced display. Once your arrangement is complete, place it in a cool spot, away from drafts, direct sunlight, and temperature extremes. For the longest blooms, change the water and re-cut the stems every two days.
