An afternoon walk down a long winding road followed by a brief stop in the garden – it’s a journey retold by this refreshing bouquet of flowers that look as though gathered from the countryside. Inside our charming muted lavender vase, hydrangeas and purple alstroemeria are brightened even more by rich greens; the entire gathering is lovely.
The flowers depend on your care upon arrival, rest assured they are thirsty. We recommend trimming the stems to be 4”- 5” above the vase. Cut at a 45-degree angle. For hydrangeas gently, bloom face down let sit in a bowl of cool water for 60 seconds. Next steps- IMPORTANT- place the cut-angled stems end in boiling water for about 30 seconds, then put hydrangeas in a vase with fresh room temperature water. This prepares the stem for the best hydration.
Give your flowers fresh water and refresh every 1-2 days. Display as you please starting with the greens/foliage first if your bouquet contains them and do not allow any foliage to be underwater. Remember, it is your masterpiece, have fun!
