This beautiful Mediterranean bonsai has a formal Latin name that translates to “mist of the sea,” because its gray-green foliage is thought to resemble mist against the sea cliffs. Popular not only for its looks but for its remarkably unfussy nature, their care is easy and their style is so carefree and sweet.

  • Plant height:  10″ – 14″

Place in a well lighted area that receives an hour or so of direct sun. Bonsai require consistently moist soil; your plant should be checked daily. Keep thoroughly moist by watering from the top, and allowing proper drainage. You may fertilize every 6 weeks during spring and summer, with regular houseplant food at ½ strength.
