Like its name, this 7 year old air plant is one of the most unique and stunning air plants on the planet. Requiring minimal attention it measures 6” – 7” in width with strong silvery leaves, seasonally displayed for in our terracotta pedestal cachepot, perfect for a coffee table or an office desk. A great conversation piece.
Airplants are tropical and subtropical plants which require very little watering as when grown in trees get their nutrients from air and rainfall. Keep your airplant moist by misting with water once a week. Trim off dry tips. Plants will become dull in color and shrunken if very dry. Display in medium bright light or in indirect sunlight in 60 – 80F temperature. Do not expose to extreme temperatures. Will survive without fertilizer but can be fertilized at ¼ household strength once a month during warm growing seasons.
