October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
If you have ever had a friend or even friends diagnosed with breast cancer like I have in the recent years, you know how devastating and tough this disease really is. So to honor the many individuals affected by breast cancer Calyx Flowers in 2007 started our “Bouquets for Breast Cancer” program. Each year we donate 10% of the revenue raised by the sale of these flowers to fund breast cancer research. It’s all about making a difference.
Our featured bouquet for 2010 is the Pink Ribbon Roses Bouquet. It’s a bouquet of vibrant beauty that will have your recipient saying, “Oooo la la roses!” when it arrives in splendid fashion. I just love the way the pink roses combine with the intriguing light green roses which are a variety called “Super Green.”
